Start Your Research: Library Catalog

The Sol Blatt, Jr. Law Library's online catalog is a great tool to search for print library materials, such as books, study aids, class reserves, DVDs, or other print materials.  is available on and off campus. The Catalog is available on and off campus. You can select "Library Catalog" on the law library's web page.

Pictured below is a sample search. You have several search options, including keyword/phrase, author, title, format, or location, for example, General Collection, Study Aids or Course Reserves, to help refine your search. If you sign in, at the icon, top right corner, you can place a hold on a book and see books you have checked out. 

 

Start Your Research: Discovery

Discovery searches all the Law Library's electronic holdings, including print materials, audiovisual collection, databases, abstracts, and articles. You can access Discovery by clicking the Discovery link on the law library's webpage under the Online Resources heading.

You can then search by keyword, title, or author on the next webpage, pictured below. You can also select Advanced Search for more options.


Then, on the next webpage, you'll see results for articles, books and materials in the library's collection. You can also use filters for precise searching.

Looking for more sources for books? Try WorldCat and Google Books. If you have questions, ask a librarian or law library research fellow. If we do not have what you need, we can also submit an interlibrary loan request. You can access the form at the link below or on the law library's web page, under "Online Resources."
