Purpose of This Guide

This guide is meant to give resources that are relevant to international law. It begins with information regarding the Kellogg-Briand Pact because the treaty related to the creation of the Nuremberg Trials as well as the UN Charter, which is still in effect today. The Nuremberg Trials are the next topic because they set a precedent for how jus cogens norms and international legal standards can be upheld in international courts. The UN Charter is the final topic because it is the treaty that created the United Nations, which plays an important role in international law and politics today.
