Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the first of four children of Catherine Eugenia Finnegan Biden and Joseph Robinette Biden, Sr.
President Biden Graduated from the University of Delaware and Syracuse Law School and served on the New Castle County Council.
President Biden represented Delaware for 36 years in the U.S. Senate before becoming the 47th Vice President of the United States.

Kamala D. Harris is the 49th Vice President of the United States of America. She was elected Vice President after a lifetime of public service, having been elected District Attorney of San Francisco, California Attorney General, and United States Senator.
Vice President Harris was born in Oakland, California to parents who emigrated from India and Jamaica.
Harris graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

Following the Obama-Biden administration, then former Vice President Biden and Dr. Biden launched the Biden Foundation and the Biden Cancer Initiative.
Dr. Biden's Advocacy for more cancer education and prevention began in1993, when four of her fiends were diagnosed with breast cancer.
Following that year, she launched the Biden Breast Health Initiative to educate Delaware high school girls about the importance of yearly detection.
After Dr. Biden and then Vice-President Joe Biden lost their son Beau to brain cancer in 2015, they helped push for a national commitment to ending cancer as we know it through the White House Cancer Moonshot.

President Biden said Thursday that he plans to seek reelection in 2024 with Vice President Harris as his running mate; indicated that he was open to revamping the filibuster to get his policy priorities, including voting rights, passed; and said that he does not picture U.S. forces in Afghanistan next year, though meeting a May 1 deadline for withdrawal would be tough.

"Some families are not going back because Mexico is refusing to take them back. Some, not all," Biden said. "We’re in negotiations with Mexico. That's going to change. They should all be going back," he continued. In February, about 59% of migrant families were allowed to remain in the U.S. pending a final decision on whether they will be removed under a separate provision called Title 8.

Biden said the new goal for his administration was 200 million vaccines administered in 100 days. The original goal was 100 million, which the U.S. hit last week.

Biden was asked when he will fulfill campaign promises of pushing gun control through Congress. "It's a matter of timing," the president said. "As you all have observed, successful presidents, better than me, have been successful in large part because they know how to time what they’re doing." Biden then said his "next major initiative" is to rebuild infrastructure, adding that he’ll announce that plan in Pittsburgh on Friday.
